Apple Planning Mac OS-Powered PDA/UMPC?

According to a new report at AppleInsider.com (and such reports are a dime a dozen, so take this with a grain of salt), Apple has a new PDA/UMPC in the works based on the Multi-Touch technology the company developed for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The new device would be about 150% the size of the iPhone, boast a screen with a 720×480 resolution, and run a Mac OS X Leopard variant. According to the same report, the new device would launch sometime in 2008.
