New Windows Mobile App Promises to Fend Off Mosquitos
Windows Mobile devices wear many hats. We use them as personal planners, phones, video players, gaming machines, GPS navigators and even flashlights, but today we may be able to add another function to this list: insect repellant.
Mosquito Defence is a new application from OneCoreSoft which purports to use the speaker of Windows Mobile devices (touchscreen Pocket PCs and Smartphones only) to repel female mosquitos (the females are the only ones that drink human blood). Whether it works remains to be seen, but we’ll try to get our hands on a copy and try it out.
