Palm Centro coming to Sprint this Fall
There have been lots of Palm Treo 800/Gandolf rumors floating around lately, which usually means a new device is coming soon. Yesterday at a tech summit in Virginia, Sprint showed off its upcoming lineup and as reported by Gearlog, and later confirmed by Palm, the Palm Centro is coming to Sprint this Fall.
The company is not revealing many details at this time and will give full specifics closer to launch. However, it has been confirmed that the device is targeted to the new smartphone user with rumors of it launching at only US$99. The device will have a full QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen, it will be the smallest Palm OS smartphone to date, and it will support the EVDO wireless data network.
