DVR or On Demand?

DVR or On Demand?

Guest post written by my buddy Orville Lynn

Despite the fact that my wife still swears by the DVR, I am trying desperately to convince her that the way to go is Free on Demand. Normally this is something completely obvious, but I am not very skilled at expressing my thoughts. Usually whenever I start arguing something my mind starts drifting to the time I was attacked by my neighbor’s dog. My therapist says it might have to do with the adrenaline or the fight or flight mechanism in my brain being all screwed up.

Anyways, I usually start by trying to appeal to her logos, then pathos and ethos. My plan of attack usually starts like this. Watching Free on Demand lets you watch a show without having to set your DVR(logos), and it has all your favorite shows available(pathos) and I am an authority on the subject because one time this dog with really nasty teeth and a bark that would split your head open with its echo, and I was really scared so I ran like the wind, but not really because the wind was in my face, and so I was running like a human being minus the speed of the wind, which wasn’t nearly fast enough and the dog bit me right in the calf, causing me much trauma. Crap, there I went again. In any case Free on Demand is just better, and you can only get it with satellite tv.
